How to Help

Help us reach our 2015 goal of raising $60,000 through our online Angel Fundraising Challenge. Proceeds go directly to The Angel Fund, which benefits the Cecil B. Day Laboratory at UMass Medical where Dr. Robert Brown and his team are the cause and cure for ALS.

Our Mission is to Help Those Who Need It

The Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Road Race to Cure ALS and Family Fun Day was created 12 years ago with a single objective in mind - to raise money to find a cure for ALS. The event has raised more than $1.1 million to date.

Every dollar raised is directed toward the Angel Fund, a 100% volunteer-run organization, all of which is then directed toward the Cecil B. Day Laboratory at UMass Medical School, where Dr. Robert Brown and his world-renowned colleagues are doing groundbreaking research toward a cure or effective treatment.

This event would not be such a success without the support of the Timlin Family, the Boston Red Sox and the community of Hopkinton.
